Word of God, O Bountiful Supply

The Word of God spoken in our words,
Oh, the blessings and bountifulness it affords.
His words have spoken to my heart,
And with these word, His wisdom doth impart.

To those that spilt their blood, my gratitude,
And by Your words, it has changed my attitude.
For those that suffer for His name,
You will not die in shame.

So take this Word and let it be thy guide,
And take the words you glean and in your heart hide.
The words of life are found therein,
And they can guide you to salvation from sin.

The Solid Rock

The Rock on which I stand,
Has called me out to go across the land.
For He will not move or go away,
Because He is my hope and stay.

We have built on the Solid Rock,
And He is the Shepherd of this flock.
For we may move and go astray,
But He is there for us day by day.

He knows the need for a steadfast place,
Somewhere we can seek His face.
For we before Him fall,
And upon His name we call.

Rod of Guidance

Blood is flowing through me,
And Christ spilt His blood to set me free.
All that is within me created by God,
He has constantly guided me with His rod.

The rod He carries, guides and comforts me,
And makes my sin for me to see.
If I am blinded by my sin,
I am a hurt to the souls of men.

I am sheep that knows not the way,
And I am constantly going astray.
I look to the Good Shepherd to be my guide,
Because all in His sight, there is nothing that I can hide.

Walk With Me

Walk with me, past the upper room,
Where Christ fellow-shipped and washed their feet.
Where Christ knew that Judas had planned His doom,
And Judas knew that he could not the Son of Man defeat.

Walk with me, past the place of betrayal,
Where Peter spoke thrice, I know not of who you speak.
He wept after his blatant denial,
And after it was done, the cock's crow was uttered from his beak.

Walk with me, past our Savior's trial,
Where Pilate could not find any reason.
He washed his hands of all that was vile,
And Christ knew that it was His season.

Walk with me, past the Savior broken and bruised,
The soldier's mocked the Eternal King.
They cared not about the Savior, they abused,
They thought this our Savior would sting.

Walk with me, as our Savior carries the cross,
The burden of sin was far greater.
We could not save ourselves, but end in loss,
He knew what was at stake, because He is our Creator.

Stand with me, as we witness this Great Sacrifice,
For though God turned His eyes away.
He knew that His blood would suffice,
For if you call upon Him, you can be saved today.

Boldness to Share What I Believe

Tonight we heard from Evangelist Ron Reilly, and talked about boldness in our witness. This is something that even I need to grasp myself, because if I am silent, I am only hurting those that I am witnessing to. Everybody's life is just as important as mine. We let all our drama in our life blind us to those around us who have needs.

Not only am I concerned about people's eternal state, but also I am concerned about some people's other beliefs concerning very relevant issues. Abortion being one of the big topics, and it is not the woman's right to choose if a child lives or dies. They have made a choice to do things immorally, and therefore there are consequences. Women think that they can erase those consequences through abortion, and 51 million babies have suffered because of these bad choices. God looks down and sees this wickedness and hurts His heart. The other thing that I see is the reaction that people have against that do these procedures, and two wrongs do not make it right.

Boldly I speak of my Savior,
You will not get to Heaven on good behavior.
Because your works are as dirt,
And if you rely on them, it is to your hurt.

Boldly I ask for Your power,
So that You will work in me every hour.
For my life is Yours indeed,
And He is my life's need.

Boldly I stand before man,
Proclaiming salvation's plan.
For this my calling and my plea,
That my Christ they may see.

Hands of God

The hands that the shaped the human form,
The hands over the water calmed the storm.
The hands that took the nails on the cross,
The hands that reached out to save us from loss.

The hands that turned water into wine,
The hands that saved your soul and mine.
The hands that wrote in the sand,
The hands that knew the need across the land.

The hands that will execute righteous judgment,
The hands that know where I will be sent.
The hands that for me did bleed,
The hands that ask for me to heed.

Covered by the Blood

Baptised in the blood, I am made clean,
By this salvation, I am redeemed.
For I am justified by grace,
And the veil is torn and I can see His face.

For a sinful state, I once was in,
But by His blood, I am cleansed within.
We are not completely free,
Until we see what He has done for you and me.

I am glad to have my sin debt paid,
And putting up treasure in Heaven laid.
I am daily in His presence amazed,
And He by me, shall be praised.
